Exercise: Focus at different apertures.

As its raining again so I have reverted to a set of jugs for this project.

With the camera set on the tripod I have set the focus on the middle jug.  I changed the aperture to its widest setting, f4.5, and took the first picture.  The second picture the aperture was set at f11 and the third f29.  The camera was set in AV mode and so selecting the shutter speed for me.

The first picture the focus is on the centre jug and it has a shallow depth of field.  The first jug is out of focus.  In comparison the third picture has a deep depth of field, with all three jugs being in focus.
